Sinus Relief by Chiropractors

Do you wake up with a stuffy nose, head and mucus in your throat?  Do you feel as if you always have a cold?  Do you have chronic postnasal drip?  You may be suffering from sinusitis; the most common condition in the 18 - 25 age group.
When the sinus linings are inflamed, swollen and full of mucus; one has the condition know as sinusitis. This occurs when you have a cold and clears up when the cold ends as long as there is no blockage anywhere. This blockage can cause pain, headache, swelling around your eyes and ears, pain in your cheekbones, pain in your teeth or jaw, chills, fever, dizziness, sensitivity to light (photophobia), bad breath, a general crummy feeling and even depression.
The causes of sinusitis can be anything that irritates the sinus membranes such as dust, mold, pollen, fumes, virus’, bacteria and excessively dry air in homes and offices. Allergy sufferers often have symptoms from the allergens that they are exposed to causing irritation to their sinus passages. Sinusitis can also come from polyps, bone growths, facial injuries, deviated septum’s, tumors or diseases of the teeth.

When the usual medical approaches do not work and surgical drainage is being offered, one should consider Chiropractic Care. Chiropractic Care is not a treatment for sinus conditions, yet sufferers often find relief with Chiropractic Care.
How does Chiropractic Help??
Chiropractic relieves the stress on the nervous system and your body structures, which helps your body to function more efficiently and allows the drainage of your sinuses. If your body is working properly, your resistance to disease and sickness improves, and your reaction to dust, temperature changes, pollen and other irritants can lessen and stop altogether.
